How is this calculated?
In simple terms, the calculator determines the child’s age at the measurement date, selects the matching WHO height-for-age reference for their age and sex, and calculates where the measured height falls on that reference.
Technically, the matching WHO L, M, and S parameters are used to calculate a z-score. That z-score is then converted to a percentile using the standard normal distribution.
